Greenhouse Gardening Gives You Freedom To Grow What You Like when You Want

When was a child a neighbor had a greenhouse in their garden and it always struck me as being a mysterious place. Why would anyone have a building made of glass? Why were all the windows steamed up sometimes? Why have a greenhouse?

As I got older and became an enthusiastic gardener I used to wish I had the money and space for a greenhouse myself. Growing vegetables was a very satisfying experience but by the time my crops were ready the season was already in full swing and the vegetables were very cheap to buy in the supermarkets.

Eventually I did get my greenhouse and it enabled me to start greenhouse gardening and sow my vegetable crops much earlier and get crops much faster than before. Now I was producing vegetables while they were still expensive in the shops.

Believe me, there is nothing more satisfying for a gardener than to have your own produce on the table at a time when the stores are still bringing those same vegetables into their stores by flying them in from warmer parts of the world.

A greenhouse gives you the freedom to control the local environment and produce the plants and vegetables you want to grow at a time of your choosing and freedom is something we all enjoy.
